In-Person Digital Poster Preparation Guidelines
You will be presenting your poster on a digital touch screen during your assigned Poster Session. You do not need to bring a paper copy of your poster to the summit. We recommend that each presentation begin with a general poster similar to a normal printed poster. One benefit of a digital poster is that you may use links to additional images/slides/movies in your poster.
- Each digital poster presenter will be provided a 57" touchscreen display 57" touchscreen driven by a Windows 10 PC.
- Default installed software will be Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Powerpoint.
- The screen resolution is 1080p 1920 px x 1080 px - 16:9 format.
- Various video codecs will be installed including those included with VLC.
- An internet connection and Google Chrome browser will be available.
- The simplest option is to create your digital presentation in Microsoft Powerpoint. We suggest a single initial slide that mimics the look/appearance of a normal poster. You will be able to pinch/zoom/pan while presenting your poster. You may include embedded videos & images in your poster, as well as additional slides with supplemental information.
- If you would like to use another format or application, please just let us know and we will be happy to work with you.
- Please be sure to use very high quality images so that they remain sharp when zooming in.
- You may include sound in your poster, but note that the noise in the poster hall may make it difficult to hear. One solution to this would be to provide headphones that people could use if sound is important.
- You should bring your presentation to the conference on a USB drive and you will directly load your presentation files onto the digital poster computer.
- You should load your presentation directly on your assigned presentation kiosk via USB at least 15 minutes before your assigned poster session.
